Jamabandi/Fardi/RoR : there are basically land records in North India and contain details like :
Main land records detailing owners’ names, cultivators’ names, Khasra Number, Area and crop details.
Mortgages and leases (if any). The main land record is this called as Jamabandi or Fardi.
Khasra No. : is the plot number or survey number which is assigned to a particular plot of land or generally to a specific piece of land in a village.
KhataNo./Khewat No. : it is the account number given to a set of owners who own a portion of land with various Khasra No’s.
Khatauni No. : is basically the account number given to a set of cultivators who cultivate a portion of land with various Khasra No’s.
